These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and CrumbStream ("we," "us," or "our") and govern your use of the CrumbStream app, website, and related services (the "Services").
By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to digital services) to use the Services.
If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
2. The Services
CrumbStream helps users log meals and view nutrition-related estimates and insights.
Some features may be available only with a one-time paid unlock.
3. Purchases and Billing
- CrumbStream offers a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase to unlock unlimited access.
- Refunds and billing are handled by your app platform provider under that provider's terms and policies.
4. Health and Nutrition Disclaimer
CrumbStream is for informational and personal tracking purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for professional medical guidance.
Always seek qualified medical advice for health concerns.
5. AI Output Disclaimer
Some features rely on AI-generated estimates and suggestions. These outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed by you.
You are responsible for final entries, and you may manually adjust values.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- misuse, disrupt, or interfere with the Services;
- attempt unauthorized access to systems or data;
- reverse engineer, scrape, or systematically extract Service content or functionality;
- use the Services for unlawful purposes.
7. Accounts and Security
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity under your account.
8. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, abused the Services, or created security or legal risk.
9. Intellectual Property
The Services, including software, design, trademarks, and content (excluding your own content), are owned by CrumbStream or its licensors and are protected by law.
No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.
10. Third-Party Services
The Services may rely on third-party services, including AI model providers and app platform providers. Your use of those third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CrumbStream and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid for the Services in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
Any legal action arising out of these Terms or the Services must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms and update the "Last updated" date.
Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
